I tried windows update and got this error:

0x80248007

Not sure what it means. Not much information on it.

Anyone know how to fix/get around this error?

SUS_E_DS_NODATA - The caller asked for data that is not in the datastore

Try renaming the SoftwareDistribution folder

Because you are renaming the folder, you will lose your Windows Update
History which isn't important.
