Error Message 80006002

I am having the same problem as everyone else. I also have Vista Basics.
Tried everything possible but nothing works. Can't even get into the windows
updates through Internet Explorer. Just tells you to go to updates on your
computer. And of course you don't get anywhere. If someone out there has
found the solution please let me know.

Unfortunately I don't have an answer for your error code at least I can confirm that you
can't get to the WU site with Vista.
The website has been replaced by Windows Update in Control Panel
