Error message 8070539

Just got my Sony Vaio back from Sony Service and got this error message when
runnig Windows update after running the Win 7 upgrade.

Removing all the Google Desktop programs, then rebooting, from the Vaio and
the Windows Update program ran ok.

The reommendation from Ziggy1 seems to work

Some questions remain:

1) Who installed the Google "fluff" ?
2) Are you referring to a "reommendation" from Ziggy Stardust ?
