I am also seeing this message - interestingly I have also recently upgraded
to a BT Home Hub from BT Voyager; however this has only happened on one of my
PCs and they have all been similarly upgraded.
The restore point thingy is no doubt useful if you happen to know what
upgrades need to be applied, and is probably going to take rather a long time
to figure out.
It would be useful to understand why Live Messenger outputs this error. As
Richard says, it seems inordinately difficult to find any useful info about
this error in this context.
