Error Message CODE80073712

I keep getting this message whn I try to run a windows update and the program
tells me it is unable to run. Can anyone help me out here? I tried to leek
for what this may mean and hpw to correct it, no luck. Thanks Any and
everyone.

Tried that and got the system was unable to find the specified registry key
or value and yes I am the administrator....I just tried deleting the
RebootRequired sub-key again and was able to access win update and now got
this new error message but it wont let me install the fix for it....

wrong error sorry

The "Windows Features" dialog box is empty in Windows Vista, or you receive an error
message that includes the following code when you try to use Windows Update: "0x80073712"
