Error 2894 means ur infected with a virus.
go here:
http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/
it's a free online virus scanner. it should find a virus
on ur PC and remove it.
heres how to fix the 1603 error:
1.Navigate to your System folder, usually c:\WINDOWS or
c:\WinNT
2.Enter the WinSxS folder
3.You should see a folder called InstallTemp, rename it to
InstallTemp2
4.Find the file
x86_Microsoft.Windows.Networking.Dxmrtp_6595b64144 ccf1df_5.
2.0.4868_x-ww_212f7d9e AND RENAME IT TO THIS:
x86_Microsoft.Windows.Networking.Dxmrtp_6595b64144 ccf1df_5.
2.0.4868_x-ww_212f7d9e2
5.Now install MSN MESSENGER
another 1603 fix:
1. Click on Start -> Find -> Files or Folders
2. Search for sfc.dll. It should be under
c:\windows\system32\
3. Rename sfc.dll to sfc.dll.x [x could be any character]
4. You should be able to do the install now.
5. After you have installed the software, change sfc.dll.x
back to sfc.dll.
(might have to do this in SAFE MODE)
another 1603 fix:
Grant Full Control permissions to the SYSTEM account. (for
Windows 2000 and Windows XP only)
Use this method if you receive the error message because
the SYSTEM account does not have Full Control permissions
on the folder that you try to install the Windows
Installer package to.
IF U STILL get errors then do these steps here:
