Error Message - When shutting down Vista

This seems to happen when my PC has been running for a few hours or more...
I go to 'Restart' but the desktop just hangs. After a few minutes, the
screen goes black and it pops up a box that says...

"Logon Process has Failed to Create the Security Options Dialog Box"
Failure - Security Options
OK

I click OK and it restarts. Also, when my pc hasn't been running for more
than a few hours, it restarts like normal... with no problem.

i'm running vista home premium, pentium dual-core, 2GB RAM.
Software running is Zone Alarm firewall, AVG Anti-virus/spam.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

First uninstall Zone Alarm-if no help uninstall AVG also
