This sounds as if it is not a Windows issue. It looks as if there is not
enough hard disk allocated to the Windows partition of the hard disk. You
might need to reconfigure Boot Camp.
If SP2 offers the option of *not* taking backups for uninstall purposes,
then you could try taking that option, but I think most SP2s have that
option grayed out.
