Error message w/HP Photosmart 7600 Printer

Vista gets an error message for the HP Photosmart 7600 printer driver
There appears to be only one alternative driver available, a 7150. Doe
anyone know more about this? I had to download from the HP site, no cd

Have you tried to automatically detect product names/numbers?

Thanks for your reply. I've exhausted the research for the drivers,
I was hoping someone would know...more. Even the most basic
7600 driver isn't compatible. I can't even find the location of the
7150
within my laptop. Administrator's are not the default administrators,
Microsoft is...They are the Captains of the Enterprise Vista.

HP has chosen not to provide Full Featured Software and Driver.
This was their decision, not Microsoft's. It looks like HP thinks you
should buy one of their newer printers if you want full features in Vista.

It's odd that you couldn't find "HP_Vista_PS_7150.exe" choux.
