Account: 'pop.gmail.com', Server: 'pop.gmail.com', Protocol: POP3,
Server Response: '-ERR [AUTH] Username and password not accepted.',
Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number:
0x800CCC92

I just did a clean install from vista home premium to vista business. I
used windows mail before to access my gmail email account with no
problems ever. Today after setting everything back up - I continuously
am prompted for my user name and password. When I cancel out of the
send/receive I get this error message.

I do have norton antivirus completely turned off - so it can't be that.
Can anyone help me?

believe me - I wish it was that simple. I had both windows open side by
side adn completely delete the account and reinstalled it. I have the
correct outgoing / incoming server names, the correct port numbers, all
the correct boxes checked... I cannot fiqure it out, but after searching
th threads it seemd to be a common error. Just no solutions posted are
helping me - - - the error message is a little different from other
posts.
