Error message/ windows media player/ windows picture & fax viewer

After installing Sp2 from disc I get the following error message when
attempting to open Windows Media Player: The application has failed to start
because gdipluss.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix
this problem. (Reinstalling does not fix the problem). With Windows Picture
and Fax viewer I get this message: Error loading
C:/Windows\system32\shimgvw.dll. The specified module could not be found.
Does anyone knnow of a patch to fix this problem?
