Error Message "wnmsgupdt" invalid page fault

The above message occurs 3-4 times a day while using InternetExplorer v6.0
and assorted updates. It is followed by
"occuring in kernel 32.dll bff167...." How do I resolve this consistent
problem? It is not covered in MS product solutions. I never receive the
message when I use the MOZILLA
