Hello,

I have following configuration:
-Laptop with ActiveSync 3.8
-Microsoft Outlook 2003
-HP iPAQ with 2003

I made a new partnership with both. When I synchronize I get the following
error from ActiveSync:
"MicrosoftOutlook is no longer installed, so ActiveSync cannot
continue to run. To continue, reinstall Microsoft outlook. If you no longer
want to synchronize your data, disable synchronization in ActiveSync."

I still have a previous partnership on my laptop with the same device but
since I had to reinstall the device I'm making a new partership. In the
previous partnership I didn't get this error.

What can be the problem and what can I do about it?

Thanks for any help.

KVO

Hi,
Try using Detect & Repair in Outlook and then reinstall ActiveSync.
