I had to find a WindowsXP CD in order to follow the directions detailed in
the referenced article. I was not able to find one, so I just went ahead and
used the Restore DVD that came with the computer. Even though I used the
non-destructive option, I still lost programs, files, etc. I was able to
download SP2 without incident and reload all my programs and files. I'm all
up-to-date now, but it has taken so much time! I really appreciate all your
help. I have learned alot in the process and hopefully it will put me in
good shape for any future problem. Thank you again!
