Cont..... mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run
Microsoft outlook and set it as the default mail client"

After installing IE7, I now get the above error msg constantly while surfing
the net. I don't even have Microsoft office outlook installed on the
computer! I have gone to internet options and set outlook express as the
default, but it does NO good! Can't uninstall office outlook because it was
never on the computer?

Please advise how to get rid of this annoying thing? Thanks!

Go to Start>Run and type:
"C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe" /reg
(with the quotes and a space before /reg).
Click OK.

If that doesn't work, try the NG recommended by MowGreen.

The registry edit didn't work, so I will take it to the place you recommend.
Thanks
