Error "MSNIASVC", updates not recognized

Updates not recognized. View history reads "successful" but receive daily
notice of updates available. "Scan for Updates" show updates available,
install updates, still notifying same updates available. Error message reads,
"Caused a stack fault in module, MSNIAWA.DLL. HELP!

msniawa.dll is not a standard Windows component. It has something to do
with access to the MSN Network (MSN Internet Accelerator maybe?). If you do
not actively use an MSN account, you could try removing or renaming
msniawa.dll and restarting.
