yes I am running (build 1051) . The uninstall program you mention is not in
the install folder (I just downloaded the latest posted version so MS may
have removed that)
I used Windows Install Clear Up and did athought clean up of the registry
deleting the unfamous
{A5CC2A09-E9D3-49EC-923D-03874BBD4C2C} key anually and did a reinstall.
All seems to be woring with the exception that Defender doesnt show on the
system tray anymore but reading about this on their web page it seems to be
by design and wil only show if it encounters a problem. This is a bit
disconcerting since I'd like to know the THING IS LOADED !
(as annoying as that wall with the exclmation mark was - it DID tell me
something)
Apparenty they are juts playing around with usability because as a matter of
fact I dont see any manual way of updtaing the program engine nor the
definitions !
