Okay you said different ports so I guess a USB keyboard. You may have to
find a PS2 keyboard or an Adapter so you can plug into the PS2 keyboard
socket, otherwise it may mean taking the case apart and trying to reset
the CMOS memory - problem is that this does not guarantee a fix but it
just might. It depends very much on the BIOS the machine has and how it
supports USB.
I appreciate the problem, you can't get to reset the BIOS or anything
else without a keyboard
If anyone else can see an obvious way around this feel free to try
