Error number 0x00000485

Load Library (msscript.ocx) failed
Get Last Error Returns 0x00000485

I attempted to do a security update. It will not download. Went to help
and it said to put in (regsvr32 msscript.ocx) under run which I tried but it
would not take it. Next it said to change something so it now says
C://windows I was afraid to monkey around with any preset files. I have
Windows 98. Can anyone help?

Sometimes you have to be very explicit in giving the exact location of a file when using Regsvr32.
Try one of these & stop when the 1st one works.

regsvr32 C:\Windows\System\msscript.ocx

regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\msscript.ocx

You may have to do similar for the other files mentioned in the above article.

If you don't find it don't worry about it. Not all OS have that module.
