error number 0x800072ee2

i try running windows updates and each time i get the same error #, can
anyone help?

Check your firewall settings it may be blocking,
Turn off any web filters, ( popups etc.)
check for spyware, adware

look at:
You receive an "Error 0x80072EE2" or "Error 0x80072EFD" error message
when you try to use Windows Update

check your proxy setting if any.
proxycfg setting view
proxycfg -d deactivate
proxycfg -u copy setting from IE

If useing Intel anypoint try uninstalling and re -nstalling to unblock the
fire-wall
