I've 'upgraded' to Windows 7 Release Candidate and got rid of comodod and
replaced it with widows firewall and avg. Windows update seems to work, but
the change to look for other microsoft products via microsoft update still
doesn't work, but this time it says I need to be logged on as an
administrator (which I am). So I'm still confused. Maybe I'll try a clean
install or a roll back to vista factory settings (clean reinstall) and see
what happens.
At the moment I'll first try and install the Office SP2 standalone and see
what hjappens this time (It didn't work before because of the Windows
Installer error).
