Error number: 0x80072F78 The website has encountered a problem...

I am using a http proxy seting for my broadband satelite service. I have
tried all the posted responses, but still get this error when connecting to
windowsupdate/v6. I am using IE6/SP2 and and my proxy settings are
configured through Internet Explorer. Any suggestions?
