How do you know the issue is related to what Kristy posted as the
updating issue on your systems is most likely related to the
installation of IE8, which was not even around in '07, when she posted
this ?
And, when IE8 was installed, were the AVs temp disabled during it's
installation on all 9 XP systems ?
For a better understanding of the error, see:
Windows Update Error 0x800a0007
http://www.tweaksforgeeks.com/Window...x800a0007.HTML
and also check the 0x800A138F page -
Windows Update Error 0x800A138F
http://www.tweaksforgeeks.com/0x800A138F.html
FWIW, on neither a Vista system here with IE 8 installed nor a Win7
system, which comes with IE8, SSL 2.0 is not checked in Internet Options
and the systems update just fine. But, Vista/Win7 do not actually use IE
to update as XP systems do.
