[Error number: 0x8024400A] When using Microsoft Update

Has anyone had the 0x8024400A error when running the Microsoft Update? Unable
to find any trace on the knowledge base or online support.

Tried all fized listed on this newsgroup to no avail. The error description
in windowsupdate.log is:

Unfortunately there is no proper fix for this issue. It appears that
Win2kX machines and XP have the same issues. I'm currently working with
MS support on this but nobody seems to have any real answers.
