In the same order of the last posts: 1.- Yes, Automatic Updates are enabled. But I've tried stopping the service (manually from the services screen and using the net stop wuauserv). May it be interfering in some other way? 2.- Yes, Windows Update Website always worked fine until I tried this Friday. 3.- No, I installed SP3 several months ago (August), and I used Windows Update several times after that with no issues. 4.- Yes, I dowloaded the agent and manually executed the setup, with the same result. 5.- No, I have not downgraded to XP: this machine has always had XP So I've tried running manually the setup with the /wuforce option, but it still failed with the same error message (I'm attaching the latest log). Thanks a lot for you help.
