Error number: 0x8DDD0002

I run windows vista 32, I am the only one that can and does run this
computer/profile, I am a member of and am the administrator, owner, and
everything for this computer, I have made sure that I am the only
administrator and I still get the same error when trying to update windows
live mail via check for updates. The solutions you have suggested obviousley
do not work, please tell me if there is an up comming patch for this, also
everytime I try to install vista sp1 It tells me it couldn't do it and then I
have to do a system restore because my computer then crashes!!!!! what is
going on?

You can work around the SP1 problem if you search for a manual install of the
Service Pack. You'll wind up having to download the SP and it isn't small,
and then run it as an app from the downloaded location. You can't choose
'run' you have to save it and run it offline.
