Error number 80244019 and not able to connect to windows update si

since yesterday I am having this problem of getting to connect to windows
update site and when I use WU in my vista, I get this code 80244019 and my
vista version is vista home ultimate... could it be virus or anything? please
help... it have been days...

find the requested URI (Uniform Resource Identifier)
It means there is a problem contacting the server. Try again later.
