Error number 8024402F

Hi,

I am also getting this error number 8024402F when I try to run windows
update. When I go to the updates page I try to run express update and
the system looks like it is trying to get the updates, but after a few
minutes I get this error message and no updates.

Same thing happens if I try to do custom update.

I've been working with MS tech support but so far none of their
suggestions have helped. It has been frustrating working with them. I
wait several days for my next email, and they even switched me to a new
support person in the middle of trying to trouble shoot this issue.

This morning I tried bypassing my firewall and it is still happening.

I've turned off spyware checkers, norton, but I am still getting this
error.

Any ideas?

i think im haveing the same problem only with sevice pack 2 and a differnt
error code ....0x800F022F
