The error 0x800700C1 occurs due to corruption of 2 .dll files.
I am attaching a procedure to fix the issue you are experiencing. follow
the steps given below.
1. Click Start then Run. Type "regsvr32.exe /u iuctl.dll" (without the
quotation marks) in the Open box and click OK.
2. Locate in the C:\Windows\System32\DllCache folder.
Find and rename these files: go to command prompt and run the following
commands. (without the quotation marks)
"Ren iuctl.dll iuctl.old"
"ren iuengine.dll iuengine.old"
3. Go to the C:\Windows\System32\ folder, find and rename the same files:
run the following commands. (without the quotation marks)
"Ren iuctl.dll iuctl.old"
"ren iuengine.dll iuengine.old"
4. Clean the Recycle Bin.
