error rapistub.dll

getting a message that rapistub.dll is not for Windows, or similar. The
dialog box is from wmdc.exe, the mobile device center.
The top of the dialog box reads "bad image" and refers to rapistub.dll
I have uninstalled and reinstalled device center, but having same problem.
Any ideas?

This file is in this directory:
C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\win mobil.inf_1c3787bf

You may try to copy it to Windows\System32\ and see if this helped.

thanks for your advice.
I found the driver store and used a command prompt to copy the file.
I still get the same message, though.
