Error when receiving transfered files

"Your file cannot be saved. Its name may contain unreadable characters, its
name plus path may be too long, or the folder may be read-only, deleted, or
otherwise unavailable. Please specify another file name and/or choose a
different folder."

None of these actually apply and it happens on every file.

Greetings Rikk,

For a little test, see what happens when you do the following -- click the Tools menu (or
press Alt-T), then Options, then File Transfer and click the Change button next to the
received files folder option. Then change it to something simple, like C:\ and have someone
send you a file.

Never mind, I was stupid.

The My Documents Folder doesn't point to the default. (I keep it on Drive D
instead) That folder was set to read only. Oops. The C: drive folder was
fine.
