error SHLWAPI.dll with win 98

I tried several times to put the update KB867801 but always the message of
error mentionned in the subject pop up. i clean my C drive I have enought
space but still the same. Tried to relocated the file but can not. but I can
see in the win update page the update beeing there even several times but it
doesn't appear in my ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS...What to do???

Try reinstalling IE or copy over a shlwapi.dll from someone else running the
same version of IE.

Kari,

We could ask for crash details to be sure but my guess is that this is
the crash that OE6 users get when they leave Troubleshooting logging
turned on and then disconnect or otherwise lose their link. The solution
could be simply to uncheck all such options in the OE Maintenance tab.
