Error when trying to install .net v1.1 SP1

Hi,

I've just updated one of my computers to XP from ME. I ran Windows Update
and all bar one of the updated installed. The one that didn't was update
KB886903 which is, I believe, SP1 for .net v1.1.

I've tried uninstalling, re-installing and repairing .net v1.1 but each time
I get the error that the installer was unable to find the installation
package netfx.msi in C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\IXP000.TMP\. I'm unsure how to solve
this and would welcome any advice/suggestions on how to sort this problem out.
