Error using windows automatic update

Each time I manually attempt to use Windows update, I received the following
error:

[Error number: 0x800A01B6]
Windows Update has encountered an error and cannot display the requested
page.

What should I do to correct the problem?

Are you getting this error when you are not loading the
website? In other words, when the website is done
loading, are you still getting this code back? Please
post back, and let us know whether or not this worked or
if you need further assistance.

Jesse,
Check to see if the "Background Intelligent Transfer Service" is started.
This is needed for windows update.
