Thank you for posting what worked for you. Proxy configuration settings are
sometimes complicated for the end user, as the machine that is unable to
install updates might be configured perfectly, but the proxy might not--and
there is no help for the client at that point, without intervention on the
proxy server. The reverse is also true.
However, please do not let me paint too bleak a picture: there ARE
solutions! Thanks for this one, Taurarian!
