Error w/Add/Remove after SP4 install....Line 82

I am unble to open my add/remove program since installing the sp4 a few
months ago.... error message appears as follows:

An unexpected error occurred. Object doesn't support this property or
method res://sp3res.dll/default.hta line:82

any ideas? I've seen other message boards that suggest running ad-aware,
which I have done on a regular basis... otherwise, I'm at a loss as to how to
fix this problem.

Hi,

From the "Run" box try

regsvr32 %windir%\system32\appwiz.cpl

and
regsvr32 %windir%\system32\webvw.dll

and
regsvr32 %windir%\system32\mshtml.dll


If that doesn't work:

You might try to reinstall IE, the article above also tells you how
to do that.
