Error which makes computer constanly shutdown

Computer comes up with an error and automaticly shuts down by itself
constantly does this any ideas?

I re booted the computer but the problem Reoccurs but not as often as before
just daily at the moment.

I am sorry that you are hitting this issue. This does not seem like a
Windows Update problem. Is this Windows XP? Perhaps these other newsgroups
would be more helpful:

microsoft.public.windowsxp.general
microsoft.public.windowsxp
microsoft.public.windowsxp.help_and_support
