Error while connecting to Internet

Hi,

I newly got a Hp Compac laptop with windows Vista in it. I got a BSNL broad
band connection with Ethernet modem (UT300R3U with ADSL2 + Modem). I
configured the router and whne i try to connect to internet it gives me an
error : 815 Remote server is not reponding . This could be caused by invalid
value for service name field. I am not sure how to fix this issue.. Cna
anybody help me on this ..?

How did you fixed error 815

Who the hell knows? Try rebooting everything. If that doesn't work, try
something else :-)

Just FYI

i used to have this proble mon my vista ultimate but all i did waz cange the network card and buy a (vista compatiblae one) i've been using it for 1 day and until now it works fine bu am still working to find a solution for this CURSED number
P.S: plese keep in touch an alwayz inform with the latest newz w yall

It's everywhere

I used to have this error on my vista ultimate(error815:lol)
what i did waz just changed the network card and reseted all internet settings (DO NOT 4GET to retipe the ip adress) it's been about a day that i've changed it and its still workink really good but still am working on a solution for this CURSED NUMBER so give it a try an tell me what happens
P.S:the network card must be (vista compatible)
