Error when writing pics to cdr\rw

I am trying to copy pics to my cdr\rw . I get a message that says No disc in
drive and Please insert writable CD in Drive D:\

I have put a blank cd in the drive still get message. I am able to copy
music files on this but not photos

I am sorry that you are hitting this issue. This does not seem like a
Windows Update problem. Perhaps these other newsgroups would be more
