|I have been getting error code 8024200D for over two months now (case
| #1071047387). At the request of Microsoft, I "obtained" another disk by
| purchasing Vista SP1 from Best Buy even through my system had a licensed
| copy. Microsoft's techs (not me) completely striped my machine and installed
| my factory version of Microsoft Vista SP1. Not only has this cost me
| approximately $300 in software replacement, but after working on this problem
| for one solid week, losing all my HP factory installed software, having my
| Microsoft Office believe that I have an unauthorized version due to
| reinstallation, and reinstalling all of my applications; I'm still getting
| the same error code. After a week's worth of effort, I'm far worst off than
| if I would have just ignored this patch. Is it THAT important?
