errors on links

i am using windows xp for students and teachers.

Since i installed the new service pack around 80% of links on interent pages
will not work. I get an 'error on page' icon in the bottom left hand corner
of my screen. When i double click this is states 'error: object doesn't
support this property or method'. i can't seem tofind a problem!

Any advice clever people?

IE Script error
Go to Tools, then select Internet Options
Then select ADVANCED
Under Browsing – uncheck “Display Notification about every script error�
