Guys,

Heeeelp!

Every time I post or reply to a post I get the following error. It has
nothing to do with the size (I will get the error when I post this).

Outlook Express could not post your message. Subject 'Windows 2008 Storage
Server Remote Access Issue', Account: 'msnews.microsoft.com', Server:
'msnews.microsoft.com', Protocol: NNTP, Server Response: '437 (648) Transfer
Failed - Do Not Try Again -- The Article is too large', Port: 119,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 437, Error Number: 0x800CCCA9

You may be trying to post using HTML, which is larger. I believe there's a
100k limit when posting. Check your OE settings to post and reply using text
only.

No, definitely set to text for newsgroups. This is driving me crazy!

OK, panic over, I think I have cracked it. There was a post still stuck in
my outbox. This has been making me think there is a problem with every post!

I had searched the web and noticed other people have had this issue in the
past, and they didn't seem to have a conclusion to them. This one has a
happy ending and at least I now know the solution, albeit a very simple
obvious one. (They're sometimes the worst, you sometimes look too deep!).

I had a similar problem with OE with a stuck outgoing message. Deleting it
fixed it. Glad to hear you found it, and that it was an easy fix.
