I am trying to fix up an old computer I just recently installed 98se and I
am trying to hook it up to high speed cable. I tried to install two
different ethernet adapters,
but so far no luck. When I go to hardware profile, both times the ethernet
drivers
were not installed. I got a code 28.Both adapters gave an installion floppy
disk but my computer with not read the information. I have tried driver
update so many times that I may wear out the key borad . Does anyone know
how I can force feed this information into the computer. I know the computer
has internet connection, because It will work on any other computer. Other
ih just trying to reinstall Windows , I am at a lost. I welcome anyones help.
Thank you
Larry
