event 1082 after resetquorum on 64bit cluster

hi all,

i recently migrated to new disks on a server 2003 64bit cluster. after the
resetquorum switch i have been getting the following errors each morning
around the same time as the backup job. all cluster resources are online.

ClusSvc:1082
Cluster service failed to restore a registry key for resource SQL Server
when it was brought online. This error code was 2. Some changes may be
lost.

does anyone know how to restore registry checkpoints without the cluster
recovery utility (not available for 64bit)
