My system is having difficulties receiving faxes. Here are my system specs:

Fax Machine: HP LaserJet 3015
Modem: U.S. Robotics 56K (When I run the Fax Cfg Wiz I'm informed
that this device is being shared w/ the Microsoft Routing and Remote Access
Service (RRAS))

Some faxes arrive ok. Other times, they do not arrive. Checking the event
log I see Errors w/ Microsoft Fax and w/ event id 32092. The Fax Console does
not report any of the missed faxes, only the successful faxes. Faxes are
currently being routed to a user through Outlook 2003, who then forwards them
to the corresponding recipient.
I hope this information is enough. Please let me know if you need a copy of
my InboxLOG.txt file. Thank you very much.

Here is a copy of an event:
Event Type: Error

Hello Jorge,

Thank you for posting to the SBS Newsgroup.

I understand that you cannot receive some faxes. If I have misunderstood
your concern, please let me know.

In order to supplement your description, I need your help to gather the
following information:

1. When did the issue occur? Did you experience this issue before? If no,
did you make any changes on the SBS Server recently?

2. Do those faxes that you cannot receive come from the same sender or
certain specific senders?

3. Please send me the Fax Active Log to my mailbox: v-.
Just to double confirm, please make sure you have followed the steps to
enable the Fax Active Log.

a. Go to Server Management\Standard Management\Fax (Local).

b. Right click Fax (Local), and select Properties. Activity Logging tab.

c. Make sure that you have checked the box Log incoming fax activity. You
will see the Activity log folder location underneath. By default, it
locates at C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Microsoft\Windows NT\MSFax\ActivityLog. Please paste the full content
of the file to the Newsgroup.

4. By the way, you mentioned your encounter error message when running the
Fax Configuration Wizard. Please reproduce the issue, capture a screen shot
for it and send to my mailbox for research.

Please take your time to gather the information for research. I am looking
forward to hearing from you!

Best regards,

Brandy Nee
