To Whom it may concern,
In my Application Event Viewer I received the following message:
The COM+ Event System detected a bad return code during its internal
processing. HRESULT was 8007043c from line 45 of
d:\longhorn\com\complus\src\events\tier1\eventsyst emobj.cpp. Please contact
Microsoft Product Support Services to report this error.

I am attempting to report this to you, but I refuse to pay 59.00 to report
problems thru the Microsoft Product Support Services for problems with your
own products.

Log Name: Application

Date: 9/1/2009 5:55:10 PM

Then I guess you're stuck with whatever help you can get here, bucko.

Your guess is quite right! But "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn."
Because:

1. Odds are there's no solution for the cause.
2. I was only "attempting to report" - there's not a hint of any plea for
help - but, I admit, I was/am curious what the response might prove to be.

Thanks for yours. And did you know:

Cody Jarrett is also the screen name of the leading villain in White Heat
(1949), portrayed by James Cagney -

I remember it well and the landmark movie theater where I viewed it -

"Top 'o the world, Ma!" (a great Cagney, classic movie)

I have no idea why you are attempting to report this problem to me.
Like just about *everyone else* here, I am just a poor non-Microsoft
person reading this newsgroup for my entertainment, my edification, and
an occasional opportunity to help someone on the basis of my limited
knowledge, so I can't do anything with your report.
