Hello,

I have Service Pack 4 installed, Service Pack 4 Rollup 1 installed, all the
latest patches applied till date. Still I am getting this error message and
scheduled jobs are failing. Now which hot fix is left which I can apply?

Hello,

I have seen all of them. What my problem is whats the hotfix left to be
applied now - after updating the system to all available hotfixes? And if any
one these applied hotfixes is causing this problem then which is the one ? I
will just uninstall it and it should solve my problem...

So, what account is being specified in the scheduler's task entry?

http://groups.google.com.au/group/mi...6cf7b14?hl=en&

(Google Groups search for
"Event ID: 7901" (MVP OR MSFT)
- sorted by date
)

Do you still have to use the AT command with that OS?

<title>KB223375 - Cannot Configure Scheduled Tasks to Use System Account</title>

BTW this seems to be a problem which would be better handled
in a newsgroup which specializes in administration on your OS.

FWIW to get more clues about this what I would do is run FileMon.
E.g. if the error message is erroneous it might show you that you have
a specific permissions problem to deal with at the file or directory level,
in which case perhaps cacls would give you some further clues about
your symptom.

Good luck
