Hello,
Look under \windows\performance\winsat for a winsat.log file
You can also run winsat formal -v from the commandline, to get a verbose
log file.
Thanks,

<On my notebook the Windows experience index fails with a very generic
error
<message, which means I can't use Windows Aero and besides, I want to know
<what the underlying issue is. The performance check runs all tests and at
the
<end tells me that it could not finish because a component, hardware, or
<driver reported an error.
<
<No details about which component or driver, not even which of the
<performance test failed (video performance, disk performance, etc.). I
<checked the Windows event logs, but the experience index doesn't seem to
<create any logs there. There must be something to narrow down the problem.
<
<Does anyone know if the experience index test creates a logfile anywhere
else?
<
<Any ideas appreciated. Thanks in advance.
