they are all telling me how crap vista is! And I (can you imagine that) am
trying to explain to them the situation about the drivers and what MS was
trying to do, and trying to give some excuses for MS's incompetence...

but in the end.. I do have to agree... vista IS in fact very crapy....

Today a non tech fellow said to me.. "Vista needs at least a year if ever to
start working well for people".. he also said that "XP was the best OS MS
ever made and will remain so for many years"...

I see that even the common folk get it...

So my conclusion is that people who like vista are far below the "common
folk" in understanding of what is good or not.

With WINDOWS ME perhaps we saw the same hate as with Vista, but Vista is
worse than windows Me.


I remember ONE person saying that win98 was better than XP and that XP was

As soon as the drivers caught up then you hear how great it is. Same story
different year.

There has been no other OS as bad as Vista...
vista is not bad only because of lack of drivers...

its bad because its crap in every way.
