Everything's Stretched.

I installed vista and now everything on my computer appears stretched, e.g.
images that were square are now wider than they are tall. Even these words
appear too wide as I type them. Is there any way to fix this? I know it's not
detrimental to computer performance but it's the sort of thing that annoys
you slowly.

Hello,

it could be your screen resolution. Check it in Right-click Desktop ->
Personalize -> Display Settings. Maybe you set it to a wide-screen one.

Change the resolution to match what your monitor should be set to. This
usually occurs when your using a standard resolution on a wide screen
monitor.

The problem is that this is already the highest resolution. There are only
two options and both have the same problem.

Do you have the latest drivers for you video card and is it Vista
compatible?

Then you aren't using the correct drivers for your monitor or video
card. You need a wide aspect ratio resolution, but those choices are
not showing up because the correct drivers are not installed.
